Quiz Code use cases
A webinar quiz that gets participants involved
A short quiz gives remote participants a clear opportunity to respond. Add a moment to check understanding and discuss answers instead of relying entirely on slides. Quiz Code runs in a browser: participants open the shared link or scan a QR code.
Where should the quiz fit in your agenda?
Start with a basic question to understand the audience’s starting point. After the main explanation, revisit the topic through a practical example. Finish with a few recap questions. Avoid interrupting every slide: announce the round and allow enough time to read and answer.
How to prepare your quiz
- Choose one goal: discover prior knowledge, reinforce the material or check understanding.
- Write 3–5 short questions. Set the correct answers and remove ambiguous wording.
- Test the quiz on a phone. During the webinar, paste the link into chat and display the QR code on a slide.
- Allow time for responses, show the results and explain why an answer is correct.
Example questions
- Which of the steps presented should happen first?
- How would you apply this principle in the example shown?
- Which answer best summarises the main point of the presentation?
Tips for the host
Someone watching on a phone may struggle to scan a code on the same screen, so always provide a clickable link. Check screen sharing and internet access before the session. Afterwards, focus on questions that produced divided answers. Use the results to guide further explanations rather than judging a participant from a single response.
